I was fortunate to be his Vice-Captain as well as his Secretary the second time around he was the Captain of the WAGGS. I drove him home a few times after we had had a few too many. He loved his French wines and we compared various flavours with the New Zealand and Australian ones. He was always good company to be in and I will always remember the help he gave me when I joined the WAGGS. A lovely man.
