I feel honoured to have known Denis over many years. I admired and enjoyed his gentle manner and presence, and saw his generosity and love in his warm and beautiful relationships with Dolores and Siobhan and the care he gave to Dolores. Denis was a gentleman and a scholar. All my love and thoughts are with Siobhan, David, Bridget and Denis's extended family. Tim Matthies
